The Missions Committee is the outreach and missionary team of our church.

It is very active in supporting programs throughout the Twin Cities and the rest of the world. We continue to follow United Methodist Church-wide special offerings including, Human Relations Day, One Great Hour of Sharing, Peach with Justice Sunday, World Communion, and United Methodist Student Day. We honor Native American Ministries by taking two van loads of clothing to the Bruhl Reservation in South Dakota each year.

We also have committed long-term support to the work of the Reverend Alex Elias Awad. He is a missionary of the General Board of Global Ministries of The United Methodist Church assigned to Catholic Relief Services in Jerusalem, Israel/Palestine. As the United Methodist Liaison, Alex's responsibilities include documentation, interpretation and writing on Middle East issues. For more information about Rev. The Missions Committee is always looking for people who want to practice their faith with projects that respond to other's needs. Anyone who is willing to work hard and have fun is welcome. If you have skills in cooking, food service, construction or are willing to learn, please volunteer for one of our projects. If your skills are more suited for something else, let us know and we can do a project you suggest.
